Skinnery Skins Their Customers Alive

The Skinnery has been my choice for a long, long time.  There are many skin makers in Second Life and I have just about tried them all, but I found myself returning to The Skinnery again and again.  The tones were beautiful and I could not find anything I loved better. I used their head appliers as well as some head appliers from Genus, since they matched in tone.

However, much to my dismay, The Skinnery revised all their tones in their body appliers when they released BoM versions.  NONE of them match the previous tones.  So if you have a favorite head applier, forget using the new body appliers and BoM body skins with the previous appliers.

The do provide tattoos in the newer releases of head appliers that can be used with the BoM body skins... but they currently are only updating GENUS head appliers to include these tattoos... so unless you have a GENUS head, you are out of luck.

I use a Lelutka and a Genus head... so now ALL of my Skinnery and Genus Lelutka head appliers are useless for BoM.

This is a sad development.  The Skinnery that was once my goto... my absolute fave... has abandoned me.  I don't know why the tone change... sure, updating the skins is a fine idea but... changing the tones to no longer match previous head appliers was cold...cold...cold and cynical.  And the focus on Genus is no surprise.  All skin  makers have followed the market trend and gone after users of the head with the highest sales.  I don't blame then for that.  I just cannot understand why the rest were tossed by the wayside.
